Welcome to the Fox and Hounds Inn
The Fox and Hounds Inn is situated in one of the most beautiful and peaceful villages in the whole of Yorkshire. West Burton, with its stone-built cottages bordering the lovely village green where children play on swings and adults take in the fantastic views is breathtakingly beautiful and tranqil. The Waterfalls are one of Wensleydales hidden treasures and the Fox and Hounds Inn provides the perfect oasis with access to all the delights of the area.

We are a family pub welcoming well behaved children and pets. We have a good selection of real ales to compliment our food and also serve morning coffees and afternoon teas with warm, homemade scones, tea-breads and toasted tea-cakes.

In the evening we are essentially the village pub where locals 0mingle with the visitors to produce a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The Burton pub, as it is known locally, is here to serve the village and we are very proud to be able to run it on its behalf.

Enjoy a drink and a hearty meal in the relaxed atmosphere of our comfortable bar which always has a selection of hand pulled Yorkshire Ales, very popular with the many walkers completing the “ Inn Way” as well as the numerous other routes through the scenic Dales.
